  • Rules & FAQ

    • This is a 21 and up event only, no exceptions!
    • NO Public Urination, if found in the bushes you will be removed
    • NO Weapons of any kind.
    • NO illegal substances.
    • Smoking is only permitted in a designated area, which will be noted on the festival map. Please do not smoke anywhere else. If found smoking in other areas you will be asked to leave.
    • NO Bags or Backpacks (small purses allowed).
    • No outside food or beverage. Drinking water will be provided. Empty reusable water bottles are permitted.
    • Please help us show the community that we are responsible by being aware of your alcohol consumption and do NOT drive while intoxicated. See our Directions page for buses, taxis and other transportation info. All attendees, staff members, and volunteers’ actions before, during, and after the event will affect the future of the Brew at the Zoo-Nashville. That being said, we look forward to a great festival and having you all be part of this awesome event!

    What are the hours of the festival?
    Gates open at 6:30pm and we will begin scanning tickets at 6pm. Event ends at 11pm.

    What does the festival Cost?
    $50, which includes entry to Brew at the Zoo as well as half price entry to the Zoo during the month of June. You must have your ticket stub for discount. Ticket also includes commemorative tasting glass and unlimited 2oz samples from over 30 craft breweries. VIP is $99 and includes food pairings and unique beers froms 6 breweries, food prepared onsite by Whole Foods Market.

    Will there be designated driver tickets?
    Yes, they will be $20 and you still must be 21+. You will not receive a tasting glass.  You also will receive a drink and snack voucher. DD ticket will include half of entry to the Zoo in the month of June. You must have your ticket stub for discount.

    Do you have to be over the age of 21 to attend?
    Yes, no exceptions all ID`s will be checked at the gate. Please don’t bother to buy a ticket if you are not 21.

    Are children allowed at the event?
    Sorry, no children. Call the babysitter in advance!

    Are pets allowed at the event?
    As much as we love our dogs, cats, goats, and fish, please leave them at home.

    What happens if it rains or snows?
    The show must go on. Rain, snow or shine, no refunds.

    Will there be bathrooms at the event?
    Yes, there are real bathrooms and port o potties on site at the Zoo. NO Public Urination, if found in the bushes you will be removed

    Will there be an after party?

    We will have a wide selection of Nashville’s Food Truck scene.  Several more then last year to reduce lines and wait time.

    From I-24: Exit Harding Place (56) and head west about 1.5 miles to Nolensville Pike. Turn right and the Zoo is one mile on you left.

    From I-65: Exit Harding Place (78A) on the south side of Nashville and head east to Nolensville Pike about 2 miles. Turn left on Nolensville and the Zoo is one mile on your left.

    From I-440: Exit Nolensville Pike (6) on the south side of Nashville and head south about 2.6 miles.  The Zoo is on your right.

    Free Shuttle Service:
    We are very excited to announce that in sponsorship with Gray Line of Tennessee we will be offering FREE round trip shuttles to and from Brew at the Zoo. You can choose which shuttle you would like to ride when you purchase your tickets and you must sign up and have a ticket to ride the shuttle.  We must reach a minimum ridership of 25 to ensure that each shuttle runs, so spread the word and take advantage of this incredible service. Shuttles will leave promptly at scheduled times and then leave the Nashville Zoo at 11:15pm.  See the route and schedule below:

    Shuttle A-ML Rose West (4408Charlotte Pike) 6pm Departure and 630pm Departure
    Shuttle B-ML Rose 8th Ave (2535 Franklin Pike) and Sevier Park (South side of park on Clayton Ave) 5:45pm/5:55pm and 6:15pm/6:25pm
    Shuttle C-5 Points in East Nashville and the Riverfront Downtown 5:45pm/6pm and 615pm/630pm
    Shuttle D-Smyrna and Murfreesboro will depart 6pm from Target Shopping Center off of Sam Ridley Blvd.

    Parking:
    Parking at the Nashville Zoo will be FREE starting at 6pm.  Additionally, if needed you can leave your car overnight at the Zoo must be pick it up by 9am to avoid the $5 fee.
